Solar Panels

Any  RV from the Global inventory can be fitted with integrated solar panels and battery systems to reduce your operating costs immediately. All Global conversions are completed to faciliatte inverter hook-ups and connection to mains power when available.  For a modest outlay, your local Global Dealer can also install a complete charging system to allow you to go 'off-grid' with deep cycle battery backup and the power of the sun always there to add value to your Global unit.

Awnings

Virtually without exception, all Global caravans include at least one, and possibly more, manual or electrically operated awnings. These range in size from 12' up to approximately 18'. Colour choices and fabric types abound, from white to grey and striped such as those fitted as standard to the Dometic range. In addition to the awnings already fitted, additional awnings can be supplied and installed by your local Global Dealer.

Side covers/walls, skirts and partitions are also available to suit any standard awning. The addition of such value-added components can add considerably to the total usable floor space available to you with your Global RV. By adding skirts, walls and doors with integrated windows to a standard 18' awning, up to an additional 280 square feet of liveable and highly usable floor space can be created by this simple and cost effective action. Breaking Systems

 A Global RV can be set up to have a fully integrated braking system to operate in concert with your towing vehicle, or alternatively, the towing unit can have the electric braking unit installed permanently and unobtrusively so that it becomes a complete and safe part of the towing unit. All Global Dealers are well versed and qualified to install these alternative braking systems to be fully roadworthy and safe under all operating environments and vehicle types.
